Welcome to Our Class!

HELLO LITTLE GATORS!

We have been rocking and rolling all school year long! We have accomplished so much in just a short period of time. We have our last 9 weeks left ahead of us, so let's finish Gator strong! I know YOU CAN do it.

Remember to check your Schoology accounts every single day. I will continue to upload assignments or updates throughout the week.

It may seem like this time of year all we do is test, test, test. Yea, I know. That's no fun, BUT I KNOW that YOU CAN DO IT! Remember that every night makes sure you go to bed at a decent time. Getting a good night's worth of sleep is so important. Come morning, wake up and shake all those nervous feelings right out of your body with an awesome breakfast.

Remember....YOU CAN DO IT! Every second you become smarter, every minute you become stronger, and every day you become better.

Personal Info:

I was born and raised right here in DeSoto County. Throughout my childhood, I moved and lived all over the country. California, Tennessee, and West Virginia just to name a few. My family always seemed to find our way right back here, home. My late grandmother and parents have all worked for DeSoto County Schools. My mother continues to work in the school system, but is now in Oxford. I have two younger sisters. One resides in Tennessee and another resides in Arkansas.

I have one daughter who happens to be my best "broke" friend. She plays competitive soccer and holds several titles in local and state beauty pageants. She is currently representing DeSoto County and Mississippi for two state pageants and a National pageant later this year. She is a former cheerleader who is on a break but continues to tumble (gymnastics) until she finds a new cheer home.

As I taught throughout the years, I also coached four different levels of competitive all-star cheer teams. Bringing back home several district and state champions and titles. We love animals. Up until last year, I owned four crabs, two hamsters, and seven dogs. I currently own three dogs, Shadow, Pumpkin, and Tarzan. I am very outdoorsy. My family and I love to travel and camp on the lake or near rivers and streams. When I am not busy, pitching tents and sitting around the campfire is how I like to spend my summers and weekends. The beach is also nice too!
