About the Teacher/Welcome Msg

I am a graduate of Hernando High School.  I attained my Associate's Degree at Northwest Community College in 1997.  I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Ole Miss in 2000.

I  have been teaching since August of 2001.  I have taught 2nd grade all the way to 5th.  I began my teaching career at East Tate Elementary in Tate County.  I transferred to Desoto County Schools in 2003.  Since being in Desoto County Schools I have taught at Oak Grove Central Elementary School, Hernando Hills Elementary and Lake Cormorant Elementary School.  I am excited to be presently teaching First Grade at Lake Cormorant Elementary!

I have three children of my own. All three of my children have attended public schools in Desoto County.   My oldest is a sophomore at Ole Miss.  Then my two boys attend Lake Cormorant High School.  They are a senior and a freshman.  My son that is a senior has also been accepted to Ole Miss.  While my youngest is in the JROTC program at the high school.

Please don't hesitate to contact me via Class Dojo or School Status.
