About the Teacher/Welcome Msg

Education: I received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ouachita Baptist University in May 1993.  Ouachita is located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Experience: I taught third grade for two years on post at Fort Hood, Tx.  I also taught fourth grade at Venable Village Elementary at Fort Hood. I moved to Southaven and taught third grade for three years at Hope Sullivan Elementary.  Now, I am teaching third grade here at Lake Cormorant! This is my tenth year teaching at LCES and my sixteenth year total!

Bio: I have been married to Tom Cunningham for twenty-eight years..  I have four children, Tyler and his wife Jodi, Addison, and Avery. I also am now a grandmother! My son and his wife had twin boys last June!  I live in Lake Cormorant and stay very busy teaching school and spending time with my family.  My mom was a Kindergarten teacher and I always knew that I too wanted to teach school.  I LOVE kids...mine and yours!!
